Alerts
You can access the Dental Queue by selecting Queues and Dental Queue from the Global Menu.
If an Alert has been sent to the Dental Queue, it will appear here. You can filter alerts by:
- Housing
- Time
- Type
- Request Status
- Custody Status
You can Sign Off on one or multiple patient alerts by clicking the toggle on the left of the column.
There are several actions available for each Alert:
- View the Alert
- View Vital Signs
- View Flags
- View Allergies
- View Drugs
- View Progress Notes
- Sign Off
After signing off on a patient’s Alert, the Alert is removed from the queue.
Dental Referrals to ASMP
This tab will serve as an approval point for referrals.
Referrals may be filtered by:
- Time Frame
- Custody Status
- Approval Status
There are several actions available for each Referral:
- View the Referral
- View Vital Signs
- View Flags
- View Allergies
- View Drugs
- View Progress Notes
- Approve
- Deny
- Add Appointment
After either Approving or Denying, the Referral is removed from the queue.
Work Queue
To view dental appointments, click Work Queue in the top right.
The Work Queue has a number of filters located at the top of the queue to aid in narrowing your search findings.
- Search: Used for searching by patient name or number.
- Date Range
- Type of Dental Appt:
- Dental Annual
- Dental Assistant Triage
- Dental Urgent
- Dental Emergent
- Dental Routine Sick Calls
- Dental Routine Extractions
- Dental Restorations
- Dental Prosthetics/Dentures
- Dental Hygiene Recall
- Dental Cleanings
- Location
- Order By
- Show Priority First
You may select one or multiple patients by clicking on the toggle next to their name. After you have selected your patient(s), utilizing the Mark Selected at the top right corner, you may mark them as:
- Cancelled
- Completed
- Move
- No Show
You may schedule a new appointment for multiple patients by selecting the toggle next to their name and then clicking Schedule New For Selected. In addition, you may print the work queue list. Print Selected with include HIPAA information whereas Print for Officer will print HIPAA safe information such as name and location.
If a patient is not in the Work Queue, you may schedule them by selecting Start New Appointment in the top right.
The Action menu will allow you to perform various tasks related to the appointment.
- Edit – Allows you to change details about this appointment.
- Cancelled – Allows you to cancel the appointment with a brief summary.
- Completed – Marks the appointment as completed and removes it from the queue.
- Move – Allows you to move the appointment to another queue.
- Refused – Marks the status as refused and requires the patient to sign acknowledging it.
- No Show – Lets you reschedule and document details of a no show.
- View – Lets you view the details of the appointment.
- Print – Lets you print the details of the appointment.
- Print for Officer – Prints a HIPAA friendly version of the patient’s appointment.
- Complete Forms – Brings up a list of various dental forms to complete.
